Six Days of Ladakh Wonder
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Leh
Arrive at Leh Airport, where our representative receives you and transfers you to the hotel. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and acclimatizing. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 — Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the Hall of Fame (war museum), Spituk Monastery (built in the 11th century by Od-Lde and named by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers at Sangam. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 — Leh to Pangong Lake & Return
After an early breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), a 4–5 hour journey across Changla Pass. This stunning blue brackish saltwater lake is 5–6 km wide and about 134 km long, with much of it lying across the Indo-China border. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 — Leh to Nubra Valley & Return
After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (18,380 ft) — the world’s highest motorable road and the gateway to the Siachen Glacier. Visit Deskit Monastery (built in 1420 by Lama Sherab Zangpo). Return to Leh via the same route for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 — Monastery Tour
After breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Hemis Monastery. These monasteries, built between the 15th and 17th centuries, are rich in Buddhist teachings, murals, frescoes, and statues. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 — Departure from Leh
Early morning transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight, carrying sweet memories of Ladakh.
