Seven Days of Ladakh Adventure
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Leh
Arrive at Leh Airport, where our representative receives you and transfers you to the hotel for check-in. Spend the day relaxing and acclimatizing to the altitude. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 — Monastery Tour
After breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Hemis Monastery. These monasteries, dating from the 15th to 17th century, feature outstanding Buddhist murals, frescoes, and statues. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 — Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the Hall of Fame (war museum), Spituk Monastery (founded in the 11th century by Od-Lde), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers at Sangam. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 — Leh to Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley over Khardungla Pass (18,380 ft) — the world’s highest motorable road. Visit Deskit Monastery and explore the settlements of Deskit and Hunder. Enjoy an optional camel safari across the sand dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Dinner and overnight stay at a campsite.
Day 5 — Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
After breakfast, travel to Pangong Lake via the Agham-Shyok route along the Shyok River. The journey passes through dramatic mountain scenery and river crossings. Dinner and overnight stay at a campsite near Pangong Lake.
Day 6 — Pangong Lake to Leh
Spend the morning exploring Pangong Lake — a turquoise brackish lake stretching nearly 144 km, with half of it on the Indo-China border. The scenery is unforgettable. In the afternoon, drive back to Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 — Airport Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight, carrying sweet memories of Ladakh.
