Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive in Srinagar
Meet and greet at Srinagar Airport. Your chauffeur-guide escorts you to visit the famous Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden, and Cheshmashahi Garden. Visit the 2,500-year-old Shankar Achariya Temple perched on a hilltop with stunning panoramic views of Dal Lake. Stop at Parimahal, renowned for housing Shah Jahan’s musical court. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 — Srinagar to Sonamarg (Day Trip)
After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold), situated 2,692 meters above sea level. Enjoy pony rides to the Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains throughout the year. Take in the stunning alpine scenery before returning to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 — Srinagar to Gulmarg (Day Trip)
After breakfast, drive 56 km west to Gulmarg, nestled at 2,730 meters with snow-capped mountains all around. On a clear day, you can spot Nanga Parbat. Gulmarg features one of the world’s highest 18-hole golf courses and Asia’s longest cable car ride (Gondola) — soaring nearly 5 km up to an altitude of 14,000 feet via Kongdori to Alpather. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 — Srinagar to Pahalgam (Day Trip)
After breakfast, travel 96 km southeast to Pahalgam at 2,130 meters — Kashmir’s most famous hill resort. Surrounded by tall mountains, dense forests, and mountain lakes, Pahalgam offers pony trails, horseback riding, trekking, and a nine-hole golf course. Explore the Aru Valley, Lidderwat Valley, Kolhai Glacier, Shesh Nag, and Chandanwari. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 — Srinagar Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of Kashmir.
