Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a meal on the houseboat (admission on your own). In the evening, savor a one-hour sunset Shikara ride on Dal Lake (pay directly). Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 — Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, 56 km west of Srinagar. Situated at 2,730 meters, Gulmarg features one of the world's highest 18-hole golf courses, a premier ski resort, and Asia's longest cable car ride (Gondola) — soaring nearly 5 km up to 14,000 feet via Kongdori to Alpather. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 — Gulmarg to Pahalgam (90 km / 2 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam — the Valley of Shepherds — situated 2,440 meters above sea level. En route, see the Avantipur ruins, saffron fields, and Anantnag sulfur spring. Pahalgam is famous as a Bollywood filming location. Explore Aru Valley, Chandanwari, and Betaab Valley (cash only). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 4 — Pahalgam to Srinagar (90 km / 2 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Srinagar. Check into your accommodation and enjoy a half-day tour of the Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) and Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure). In the evening, take a sunset Shikara ride on Dal Lake (pay directly). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 — Srinagar to Sonamarg (Day Trip)
After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg — popularly known as Meadows of Gold — situated 2,692 meters above sea level. Enjoy pony rides to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains year-round (at your own expense). Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 — Srinagar Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. We assist you with the transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
