Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrive NJP → Gangtok (130 km / 4 hrs)

Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Drive to Gangtok — the capital of Sikkim — along scenic mountain roads tracing the Teesta River. Check in at the hotel. Evening free to explore MG Marg, the vibrant pedestrian promenade in the heart of the city. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 — Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the majestic Rumtek Monastery — one of the largest monasteries in Sikkim — the Jhakri Water Falls, and the Do-rul Chhorten stupa. Explore local markets and experience Gangtok’s vibrant culture. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 — Baba Mandir & Tshangu Lake

Full-day excursion to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir — a memorial shrine dedicated to an Indian Army soldier revered by locals — and Tshangu Lake (Changu Lake), a stunning glacial lake at 12,310 feet. The pristine turquoise waters and snow-capped peaks create a breathtaking panorama. Return to Gangtok for overnight stay.

Day 4 — Gangtok to Darjeeling (115 km / 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Darjeeling — the Queen of the Hills — through winding mountain roads with panoramic Himalayan views. Check in at the hotel. Spend the evening exploring the famous Mall Road and Chowrasta. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 5 — Tiger Hills Sunrise & Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning drive to Tiger Hills (2,590 m) for a breathtaking sunrise over Kanchenjunga — the world’s third-highest peak. En route back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (home to the Red Panda), the Japanese Peace Pagoda, and scenic tea estates. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 6 — Departure via NJP / Bagdogra

After breakfast, check out and drive to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Tour ends with memorable experiences of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
